A Time of Transition: Open Up Your Heart For Fresh Vision

In these coming months many are in transition laying hold of fresh vision. We must begin to see ourselves in the role we will be in a year from now, a decade from now and even further. As we see ourselves in the place that God has for us, we need to understand the price we will be paying and the lifestyle we will be living at that time. As we begin to live in this way now, it will usher us into the determined place that God has for us.

Another Level of Transition

Habakkuk 3:19 The Lord God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds' feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places.

We are in a time of transition and a time of fresh vision. God is taking things to another level as we press through into a new place in Him. Transitions are healthy and good for us. When we allow ourselves to be stretched into a new place we will experience fresh joys on the other side.

It is important that we open our hearts up to fresh vision from the Lord. It is too easy to go through life without any definite direction. If we allow this to happen we feel like we are in a hurry to head nowhere fast. A life without vision is a life that is destined to be a life without purpose. We must have vision to have purpose. Our number one vision is the Lord.

The Lord is fulfilling in Himself. When we find ourselves engaged in Him, abiding in Him, we should also be awakened to His heart's desires. In His presence He pours out vision, purpose with an accompanying hope that is fulfilling to our lives. We should make the secret place with God our favorite place and out of this place discover a fresh vision and hope.

Practical Steps

Matthew 14:28-29 And Peter answered Him and said, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water." So He said, "Come." And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.

There is much noise in the world. The anxiousness, cares of this life and focus on "things" opens us up to noise that chokes out the fruitfulness of His Word in us. Anxiousness kills joy and suffocates the life of God. We are called to live in the present, not in the future. The future is only a second away. Now is present, this very moment. We need not only vision to see the plans that God has for us in the future, but the ability to begin living the vision out right now. Decree and prophesy your future, this is the first step to living it out right now.

We release God's life and plans with our very own tongue. The next step is to put practical legs to what you just spoke. We must begin to move into this next step. Many prophesy and receive prophecies for years but never activate these things because of not knowing the best way to take practical steps of faith. Yield to the Holy Spirit, speak a word of life over yourself then take some kind of step into it in the natural.

Many wait for and expect natural manifestation of their dreams without putting work, responsibility and effort into that dream. We must wholly invest ourselves – spirit, soul and body – into the dreams that He puts in our hearts. It is not enough to dream, get a revelation and vision. Get it, then just do it.

Step Into Your Vision

Habakkuk 2:2 Then the Lord answered me and said: "Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it."

Dream Big. Take a step. A small step is still a step. Don't compare yourself with others. Don't even try to walk the same path that has worked for others. God has a custom-made path for each of us. Don't let others dictate to you who you are, how you are to do things and what things are supposed to look like. Be unique. Be different as you follow what the Lord drops in your heart. No one else will ever do something the way you will do it. We are all originals. Our paths are particular to who we are.

Be content with God's pleasure in what you are doing. Discover the vision God has for you. Allow Him to breathe on it with His Spirit. Find a joyful outlet for what He has put inside of you. Just be who He has created you to be, for no one else can. See yourself in the place He has called you to. Dream on it. Meditate on it. Give yourself to it as unto the Lord. Serve Him and others in the vision He calls you to, making Him Your creative Instructor. The Holy Spirit is the Helper and will help you. He who has done a good work in you will complete it.

The Wheel Within a Wheel - Hot Spots will Be Established with Holy Fire

All that Jesus did in condescension through a single body in His first coming, He will again do through a corporate Body in preparation for His second coming.

At this present time, those who will be this "corporate Body" are being "made ready" to function in manifest glory, as being a living martyr, so only Jesus will be seen. We are very close to the time in which Jesus will come to these "overcomers" (saints), to be glorified.

"And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from Heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power; when He shall come to be glorified in His saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day." II Thessalonians 1:7-10

This passage of Scripture describes the "glory" which will be manifested through those whom the Lord has prepared for this purpose.

"And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire." Ezekiel 1:4

This is a picture of the corporate Body of Christ functioning in end-time glory, which will lead to the establishing of the Millennial government of God in the earth.

The "Wheel Within a Wheel" - Our Lives Merged Into His Life

"The appearance of the wheels and their work was like to the color of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel." Ezekiel 1:16

We are living at the end of the "sixth day," during the time in which Jesus is beginning to reveal His manifest glory in order to prepare "overcomers" for His end-time purposes. This is the "wheel within a wheel" – our lives merged into His life, in order to become the expression of His life, which will greatly affect the nations and all mankind.

"Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces." Ezekiel 1:15

This represents our lives as being "fully submitted" and "moving" with Jesus – "one wheel upon the earth" – Jesus coming to be glorified in His saints. Thus, the wheel, and the will of God can be thought of as being synonymous, as each speaks of our moving together with Him in glory, harmony, and obedience.

This glory is a moving glory in which we are being made aware of His manifested presence in glory, and in which we are learning how to function under this high level of anointing and enabling end-time power.

Four Faces: Our Identity with the Lord as Overcomer, Bride, Son and Man-Child

"Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man. And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings... Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward." Ezekiel 1:5-6, 9

"And every one had four faces." This speaks of our identity with the Lord as being spiritually mature – overcomer, Bride, son, and man-child. Each of us has a different part and function within this "wheel." Having "one likeness," is our lives being so yielded that we become the manifest expression of His life, so we can function as being the corporate Body of Jesus.

"And every one had four wings." Each of us has built within us the ability to move in the realms of the Spirit.

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31

"They turned not when they went." This act of obedient submission begins within us (wheel), and then it will expand outwardly from us (wheel within a wheel) until it fills all the earth.

"And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning." Ezekiel 1:14

This speaks of total commitment and obedience with a single eye, and also of "spirit-transportation," which will increasingly take place in the end-time.

Functioning with Jesus in His Manifested Glory, Through Holy Spirit Fire

"As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning." Ezekiel 1:13

Not only are we cleansed and purified in glory (Isaiah 6:5), but we are also being changed "from glory to glory." Our appearance being as "burning coals of fire" speaks of our being under a heavy anointing, and experiencing clear spirit-perception and direction by our relating to, and functioning through, the seven spirits of God – seeing and understanding what others neither see nor understand.

"...I have ordained a lamp for Mine anointed." Psalm 132:17

The Lord is establishing special "hot spots" in specific locations throughout the earth. These are places in which His glory will be manifested and function through intense Holy Spirit fire. Those who are being prepared to participate in His end-time purposes will recognize these "set-apart places" and gather there to be sent out to the nations under an intensified anointing and enabling.

"I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head like the pure wool: His throne was like the fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire." Daniel 7:9

"A fire goeth before Him, and burneth up His enemies round about. His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled." Psalm 97:3-4

This speaks of the "word with consequence" – the rule of a "rod of iron," in a relationship of functioning with Jesus in His manifested glory, through Holy Spirit fire, which requires a high level of spiritual hearing and obedience.

One With One Another and With Jesus, Becoming the Expression of His Life and Ministry

"Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go... When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels." Ezekiel 1:20-21

The "wheel" is the Lord (Head) coming in His glory - manifesting Himself through the wheel that is within this wheel - our lives within His life, to accomplish His end-time visitation in which multitudes will be saved, the tribulation judgments completed, and the Millennial Kingdom established. As a result, "every eye shall see Him" (Revelation 1:7).

"When He shall come to be glorified in His saints..." II Thessalonians 1:10

The "wheel in the middle of a wheel" speaks of the Lord sovereignly coming into our lives through divine intervention, to move through us to accomplish His end-time purposes. This transcends any faith or ability that we may have. Because this is a very high calling, a commitment and purity of life is required that is beyond that which is required of others.

"Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising." Isaiah 60:1-3

This speaks of our being caught up through a specific act of intervention (a part of His second coming), into His manifested glory, in which we will be given the ability to function with authority in the purposes of God. We are living in the last days, in the final time of preparation, in which those who respond will be brought into this high level of corporate unity, becoming so one with one another and with Jesus that we become the expression of His life and ministry.

The Greatest Visitation this World has Ever Experienced is Yet to Take Place

The greatest visitation this world has ever experienced is yet to take place with a two-fold purpose. First, the out-calling of a people into an end-time cooperative relationship with the Lord. Second, the judgments on the nations, which will take place through the corporate functioning of this "wheel within a wheel."

At this present time, the Lord is beginning to lift "forerunners" into His presence – those who are beginning to experience a "taste" of the age to come.

"And have tasted...the powers of the world to come." Hebrews 6:5

After our rightly responding to this process as forerunners, we will be enabled to function in power, having a foretaste of Kingdom authority with consequence.

"And he that overcometh, and keepeth My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of My Father." Revelation 2:26-27

This relates to the functioning of this "wheel within a wheel" moving in His manifested glory to establish the Millennial government of God in the earth.

"And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up." Ezekiel 1:19

The Lord is preparing a corporate Bride that is "clothed with the sun" (Son), who, through direct personal revelation, will be "caught up" to have a part in the visitation and judgments that will come to mankind during the Millennial Kingdom (the wheels were lifted up).

The Heart of God is Reaching Out For a People Who are "Willing" to Birth the Purpose of the Lord into the Earth

"And there appeared a great wonder in Heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered." Revelation 12:1-2

She being "with child, travailing in birth" speaks of intercession. Just as Mary became impregnated to birth our redemption through Jesus, so also today, there is a body of intercessors who are being "impregnated" to birth the coming time of transition (end-time intervention). As Mary, we do not need to understand how or why. Rather, we simply need to "present our bodies as a living sacrifice" and obey.

We will not come into this overnight, but there is a progression that will bring us into this higher level of intercession. Our part is to make ourselves available and then allow the birthing process to have its full work within us. Our effectiveness in this birthing process will increase through experience.

"And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to His throne." Revelation 12:5

The Word tells us that both the "man-child" and those who are "overcomers," will rule all nations with a "rod of iron." These are one and the same, and are seen by Ezekiel as being the "wheel within a wheel, which moved on its four sides."

These "four sides" function in harmony and unity. As an "overcomer," I am being qualified. As a "bride," I am totally submitted to the Lord. As a "son," I enter into a cooperative relationship with the Lord in the outworking of His purposes. As a "man-child," I move in delegated authority. Since there is neither male nor female in the Body of Christ, these are representative types.

The heart of God is reaching out for a people who are "willing" (as Mary was) in the day of His power, who as "intercessors" (a corporate Mary), will birth the purpose of the Lord into the earth in this day. The Lord always moves through and accomplishes His purpose through human agency.

Experientially, we must go through a gradual unfolding progression of the workings of God to bring us to the place where, as overcomers, we are ready to be caught up into this "wheel within a wheel."

Only then can the Lord say to us:

"Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord." Matthew 25:23

I Hear the Train a Comin' and God Says, "Ready or Not, Here it Comes"

While in Calgary, Alberta, Canada last week I began to hear what sounded like a stampede approaching in the spirit. Calgary is known for the "Calgary Stampede" celebration. As I listened more closely I realized that it was the rumble of a train barreling toward us. God spoke to me that He is moving quickly and "ready or not, here it comes."

As I was praying about it, I immediately received a text message from one of my intercessors who did not know what I had just experienced. She was seeing a light coming through a window at me and told me that it was important to press in right and respond quickly to the plans that God has spoken to me. That was a major confirmation of what God is speaking to all of us right now.

Don't Get Distracted

One of the major ways that God speaks to me is through things that happen in my life. These events are often like a prophetic act or they are symbolic of what God is saying and doing on a larger scale. I prayed before I left on my trip to Calgary for God to show me what I needed to pack for the trip. Since I travel a lot, I am normally well prepared for just about anything, yet I ended up getting distracted and forgot the equipment I needed for an event. I also made the huge mistake of not checking the weather! I arrived from California to Canada to five degree temperatures and I was wearing my very thin "Starsky and Hutch" leather jacket. Wow!

God was saying prophetically to not allow distractions, which keep us from hearing Him and being unprepared. I realized later that this message was also contained in a prophetic word I had released on September 1, 2010 (read on the Elijah List).

Watch for Amazing Miracles

We are about to have an encounter with our destinies and it will not be stopped if we don't give up. We are in a time right now that can be compared to what Jesus' disciples went through in John 6:16–21. They had just fed more than 5,000 people miraculously, and Jesus sent the disciples ahead of Him in the boat. He instructed them to cross Lake Capernaum (Sea of Galilee) without Him. In verses 18-19, "A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough. When they had rowed three or four miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were frightened."

It had seemed that God had abandoned them...in verses 20-21 Jesus addresses this: "But He said to them, 'It is I; don't be afraid.' Then they were willing to take Him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading."

Many of us have been going through this very thing, where we have seen God do miracles but suddenly it is dark and the winds and waves of our situations are raging against us. Notice that the disciples did not recognize Jesus as He approached to save them. When God does something new, oftentimes we are not able to understand it all at first. It is interesting that it says when "they were willing" to invite Jesus into their situation that they immediately arrived at their destiny. God accelerated their journey just after they experienced an intense storm and as they cooperated with Him.

Prophetic Word: Suddenly Advance into New Times and Places with God

God is doing miracles through situations that appear the opposite. The appearance of loss will bring new life and accelerate us into our life's purpose like never before.

This is a time to not be afraid and to be ready to allow God to step into our situations. Over the next few weeks it is time to sort through all that God has been speaking and promising us.

Is there anything you can do now to prepare yourself? Get ready to move quickly. Let's watch for unusual situations to suddenly advance us into new times and places with God.

Come Out of the Clutter and Hear the Message of God

A very strong and clear word came to me recently:

"During this season, stay away from over-scripted, over-studied and over-choreographed personal lives and corporate church gatherings. God is up to something new and our planning can be the very clutter that dulls our ability to hear the voice of God."

We are living in cluttered times that have produced distracted lives. Family activities and careers ask for their fair share of our day. Ministry commitments ask us for more of our time. The needs of others stand in line at the door of our lives and want to come in. Each of these demands are good by themselves, but together they can become overwhelming in their ability to fill every spare moment of our lives. At some point we must push life back and create a place to listen to what the Spirit would say.

Take Time to Come Out of the Clutter and Hear the Message of God

John the Baptist stood in the wilderness and cried out for people to prepare for the coming of the Lord.

"Prepare the way for the Lord's coming! Clear the road for Him!" Mark 1:3

All the people in Jerusalem and all the people in the surrounding countryside left their known civilization and walked out into the uncluttered wilderness in response to John's voice. A friend recently told me that at that time there were over a million people in Jerusalem and the surrounding region. Imagine a group of people that large walking away from the city and out into the wilderness to hear about Jesus. They left the clutter of their everyday lives and walked out into the simplicity of the wilderness to hear the message of God.

Paul addressed cluttered lives when he wrote to the Church in Corinth:

"The time that remains is very short. So from now on, those with wives should not focus only on their marriage. Those who weep or who rejoice or who buy things should not be absorbed by their weeping or their joy or their possessions. Those who use the things of the world should not become attached to them. For this world as we know it will soon pass away. I want you to be free from the concerns of this life." 1 Corinthians 7:29-32

Later in verse 35 Paul wrote:

"I want you to do whatever will help you serve the Lord best, with as few distractions as possible."

Paul was listing, among those things that can distract us, our relationships, our failures, our successes and our possessions. When all of the stuff of life begins to fill our lives, we become absorbed into them and take on their shape – and our image changes. Like wet clay, we are crafted into an image of the distractions in our lives instead of being absorbed and molded into the image of Christ.

Words of Promise Spoken in the Past are Now in Orbit Over Our Lives Waiting for God's Signal to Land

Profound and epic change is taking place upon the earth. Promises spoken by God are hanging above the Church seeking places to fall. God is looking for target audiences – not target audiences that come from opinion polls or logical conclusions but target audiences that have prepared themselves for His coming. These target audiences are those personal lives and public ministries that have cleared away landing zones for Heaven to touch down, much like an "LZ" (Landing Zone) that would be provided in a military operation for an incoming aircraft.

Now is the time to push back the clutter and distractions of life that are occupying your time and space and draining your away your energy.

For the last year, I have felt that much of what Heaven wants to do upon the earth is now hovering over the Church, ready to fall into our midst. Words of promise spoken in the past are now in orbit over our lives waiting for God's signal to land. Heaven is prepared for this landing. God is asking His people to prepare for His coming by providing uncluttered landing zones where His Spirit can set down and do extraordinary things. Remove the clutter and distractions and welcome the coming of the Lord.

The New Year - Year of the Loin

Ezekiel 12:21

²¹Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

²²“Son of man, what is this proverb you people have concerning the land of Israel, saying, ‘The days are long and every vision fails’?

Ezekiel 12:23

²³“Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “I will make this proverb cease so that they will no longer use it as a proverb in Israel.” But tell them, “The days draw near as well as the fulfillment of every vision.

Ezekiel 12:24

²⁴“For there will no longer be any false vision or flattering divination within the house of Israel.

Ezekiel 12:25

²⁵“For I the LORD will speak, and whatever word I speak will be performed. It will no longer be delayed, for in your days, O rebellious house, I will speak the word and perform it,” declares the Lord GOD.’”

Ezekiel 12:26

²⁶Furthermore, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

²⁷“Son of man, behold, the house of Israel is saying, ‘The vision that he sees is for many years from now, and he prophesies of times far off.’

²⁸“Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “None of My words will be delayed any longer. Whatever word I speak will be performed,”’” declares the Lord GOD.

The battle has begun

The battle has begun; it is time for the troops to move forward. All those who are wound must stay behind or those who no longer have a desire to fight and have lost their zeal for the Kingdom of God, and want to rest. Do so.

It is a new day, time to recover all that has been stolen, time for battle, not reliving the things of the past. If you are wounded get healed….if your tired….get rest.

But the Lord says get out of the way and do not hold back what I have declared to happen or I the Lord will become your enemy. Stand aside those who live in past revelations and generations for the Army of the Lord is on the March….

I know some will not receive what I am about to say, yet many will. I do not believe we have yet seen the glory and fullness of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit as prophesied by Joel. What we have seen are just a few sprinkles! Yes, we have had a worldwide charismatic renewal and love has brought many together. It has been an experience shared worldwide, yet it is just a foretaste.

God will permit nothing to hinder what he plans to do. The enemy is in for a surprise. Just as it appears the church will be inundated by a satanic flood, the Spirit will raise up a standard. Understand what that standard is, and you will understand what God is about to do. The standard is a holy people, pure, undefiled, delivered from the corruption that is in the world. That standard is a new breed of sanctified Christians, who will shine forth as lights in the midst of a wicked and perverse generation. It will not be just a renewal of love and praise, but a restoration of holiness unto the Lord!

There will still be shouting and praise, but it will be the shout of victory over sin and compromise, fulfilling the purpose of the last outpouring: "That all who call on his name shall be delivered..." (Joel 2:32). Delivered from what? From sin! From the spirit of the world!

We will not have the fullness of the Spirit's outpouring until baptized people separate themselves completely from the world. We must emphasize separation and purity of heart. The purpose of the Spirit's coming is to sanctify and prepare a people for the Lord's return, a people without spot or wrinkle.

When the fullness of the Spirit's outpouring comes upon all flesh, conviction for sin will be everywhere. "He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment” (John 16:8). That is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit!

Tragically, too many speak with tongues, but then live like the devil. Sin was never uprooted and all they received was an experience of ecstasy. God blessed them just enough to call them into a deeper life of holiness and submission, but they stopped and went about saying, "I’ve got the Holy Ghost."

Oh, there is so much more! I thank God for the privilege of praying in an unknown tongue; it is my way of releasing all the pent-up praises to God in a communication beyond my understanding. But you can speak with the tongues of men and even angels, and without charity, you have received nothing. But I say it goes even deeper. You are not truly baptized with the Holy Spirit until every hidden part of your soul has been exposed—and every sin confessed and forsaken.

The Lord's Judgement On The Earth

The Lord is coming to judge the earth, His creation, sons and daughters of God will carry out HIS judgments on the earth (like Elijah

¹Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘Thus says the LORD, “Let My people go, that they may serve Me. ²“But if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite your whole territory with frogs.

³“The Nile will swarm with frogs, which will come up and go into your house and into your bedroom and on your bed, and into the houses of your servants and on your people, and into your ovens and into your kneading bowls.

The sons and daughters of God will wield swords of righteousness, and take vengeance on the unrighteous; they will show mercy as they perform their assignments.

Those who are in opposition will fall on their faces and ask for forgiveness or they will die like the fate of Ananias and Sapphira

⁹Then Peter said to her, “Why is it that you have agreed together to put the Spirit of the Lord to the test? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out as well.”

¹⁰And immediately she fell at his feet and breathed her last, and the young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.

¹¹And great fear came over the whole church, and over all who heard of these things.

No mercy will be shown for those who come against the sons and daughters of God. Whatever they request must be given them, for they only ask on behalf of the Lord of Glory.

They will heal the sick and raise the dead. They will create wealth as Jesus multiplied loaves and fishes, Elisha's continuous flow of oil.

They will cause droughts and floods at the Lord's direction. None will be able to stand against them.

No weapon formed against them will prosper
Isaiah 54:17 ( NASB )¹⁷ “No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me,” declares the LORD.

For they are on the Lord's fast

Isaiah 58:5 ( NASB ) “Is it a fast like this which I choose, a day for a man to humble himself? Is it for bowing one’s head like a reed And for spreading out sackcloth and ashes as a bed? Will you call this a fast, even an acceptable day to the LORD?

⁶ “Is this not the fast which I choose,To loosen the bonds of wickedness, To undo the bands of the yoke, And to let the oppressed go free And break every yoke?

For the religions of this world have been on their fast of self-righteousness.
